As the 10th Senate resumed plenary this week after a statutory recess, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emmanuel Afam Eboh, has commended Senator (Prince) Ned Munir Nwoko for exceeding the expectations of the people of Delta North Senatorial District within just two years in office.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja while assessing Senator Nwoko’s performance, Chief Eboh described the lawmaker as a “credible, result-oriented, and widely respected Senator who has brought unprecedented legislative impact to Delta North since July 2023.”

According to Eboh, Senator Nwoko’s record stands out in Nigeria’s contemporary legislative history.

“He was recently ranked the best performing Senator in Nigeria by multiple independent peer review bodies,” he noted, adding that the people of Delta North are “deeply satisfied with his faithful representation and dedication to public service.”

Highlighting Nwoko’s numerous legislative achievements, Eboh stated:

“The primary duty of a Senator, as defined by the Nigerian Constitution, is to make laws for the good governance of the country.

“Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko has excelled in this regard, sponsoring and co-sponsoring some of the most impactful bills and motions in the 10th Senate.

“His interventions on national issues, from the economy, education, and electoral reforms to agriculture, security, and anti–oil theft measures, have been both strategic and patriotic.”

Eboh also praised Nwoko’s leadership in championing the long-standing demand for the creation of Anioma State, describing his efforts as “the boldest and most organized push in over 70 years since our forefathers initiated the call.”

Beyond legislation, Chief Eboh acknowledged the Senator’s tangible constituency projects and humanitarian contributions.

“Through Senator Nwoko’s influence, several communities across Delta North have benefited from access roads, solar streetlights, and potable water facilities.

“He recently attracted a ₦2 billion intervention fund for the upgrade of facilities at the Federal College of Education, Asaba, and the University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale.

“He also collaborated with the Federal Government on the proposed ₦30 billion Oko–Aboh–Patani Coastal Road Project, while over 2,000 youths and women have benefited from his empowerment and skill acquisition programmes.”

Chief Eboh concluded by describing Senator Nwoko as “a blessing to Delta North and a patriot of national significance,” urging the people to continue to support him to sustain the delivery of democratic dividends.

“Senator Ned Nwoko has truly distinguished himself. His commitment, vision, and results speak volumes. The people of Delta North are proud of him,” Eboh said
