A trigger happy police officer has shot Princess Elizabeth Agwu Nwaukpa, daughter of His Royal Majesty (HRM), Eze Agwu, the traditional in Onicha local government area of Ebonyi state.
Trouble started when the reckless police officer among other of his colleagues stormed the area and shot sporadically into the air in search of hoodlums.
It was gathered that the deceased was standing in front of the father’s palace when she was hit by a bullet which killed her on the spot.
An eyewitness said: “I am still surprised that in this era, security agencies will shoot recklessly in a public place like this”.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Loveth Odah, has assured the family of the deceased that the trigger happy officer would be apprehended.
