Pastor Gifts Widow N500, 000, Set To Send Son Abroad On Scholarship

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere,donated the whooping sum of N500, 000 to the widow of late Mr. Eze, a deceased police officer who was killed by bandits while in active service in Rivers State.

The Church founder, equally made a promise to send one of Mrs. Ngozi’s children, Mr. James Eze abroad to study on scholarship.

According to a post on the ministry’s Facebook page, the money is to enable Mrs. Eze, start a business of her choice to take care of the rest children.

Mrs. Eze, was luckily picked by Police Officers Wife’s Association (POWA), led by the wife of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mrs. Chimelum Eboka, during a giveaway party for wives of police officers who died in active service.

During the event, where Apostle Chinyere, was invited as the spiritual father of the day, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police made a special request on the clergyman to assist children of police officers who died in active service.

Apostle Chinyere, asked the widows to select one person among them, “So today 12th January one Mrs Ngozi Eze and son, James Eze, who has already relocated to the village was sent to Apostle Chibuzor.

“The process for his visa has started immediately. But while explaining her situation to Apostle Chibuzor, decided to add N500, 000 to the sponsorship of overseas scholarship.

“The N500, 000 is to be used by Mrs Ngozi to start any business of her choice, so she and her other children can be feeding while the other son is sent overseas”.

In pictures circulated by the ministry, Mrs. Eze, was seen rolling on the ground in appreciation of the kind and philanthropic gestures towards her and her children.
