Former National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete, has called on opposition parties to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his impressive governance record and transformative leadership.
Reaffirming her unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu and the APC, Okotete expressed strong optimism about the President’s re-election prospects in 2027, describing his second term as “not just likely, but inevitable.”
“President Tinubu has demonstrated uncommon commitment to people-focused governance and infrastructural renewal,” she said.
“His administration has touched every corner of the country, and Nigerians are seeing the difference.”
Currently serving as the Executive Director of Nexim Bank, Okotete highlighted her close relationship with President Tinubu, which she noted began in 2016.
She praised his mentorship, which she credited for shaping her growth both politically and professionally.
As political movements begin to form ahead of the next electoral cycle, Okotete urged the opposition to prioritize national interest over partisan rivalry.
“Supporting the fulfilment of the administration’s promises is a collective duty. We all must work together for the progress of our nation,” she added.
In a rallying call to APC loyalists and Nigerians at large, she confidently declared,
“This is where I belong… 4+4,” signaling her continued allegiance and belief in the administration’s vision.
Okotete’s statement reinforces growing momentum within the APC as the party begins to consolidate ahead of the 2027 elections.
