A trusted aide on Community Development to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborévwori, Mr. Charles Buluku, is set to be honoured with a prestigious traditional title by His Royal Majesty, Clement O. Ikolo, Urhupke I, the Ovie of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom.
The conferment ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Ewu Modern Hall, Ewu-Otor, in Ughelli south local government area of the State.
The event will commence at 10:00am prompt, and will be followed by a grand reception at Eghwrihe Street, Aladja Town, opposite Victress School.
The honour, according to palace sources, is in recognition of Buluku’s contributions to grassroots development, community peacebuilding, and his unwavering loyalty to the ideals of the Oborévwori administration.
Dignitaries from across the State, including political leaders, traditional rulers, and associates of the recipient, are expected to grace the occasion.
Buluku, known for his humility and dedication to public service, expressed gratitude to His Majesty and the people of Ewu Kingdom for the recognition, promising to continue serving the state and humanity with integrity and commitment.
