…Welfare Sub-Committee Commends Governor’s Exceptional Support
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has been honoured with a commemorative souvenir by members of the Welfare Sub-Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2026 National Convention, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and unwavering support.
The presentation, held during the convention in Abuja, drew attention to the governor’s pivotal role in the successful execution of the committee’s responsibilities.
Presenting the souvenir on behalf of the committee, a female representative lauded Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, describing him as a pillar of support whose contributions were instrumental to their achievements.
“On behalf of the Welfare Sub-Committee of the 2026 National Convention, we are presenting this little token to the Chairman of our Committee for the leadership roles, for the support and for the encouragement he gave to us.
“Indeed, he is a selfless leader who has shown that he is truly progressive in nature, funding the entire project”, stressing that the Welfare Sub-Committee delivered effectively on its mandate.
The commendation underscores the governor’s commitment to service, teamwork, and party development, as well as his capacity to mobilize resources toward achieving collective goals.
The APC National Convention brought together party leaders, delegates, and stakeholders from across the country, further strengthening unity and consolidating the party’s structure ahead of future political engagements.
