MALPRACTICE: UNIBEN Graduate Ordered To Rewrite Two Years Examination

219

A Microbiology graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State, Miss Peace Ufuoma JITE-EDA, with Mat. No. LSC1605452 – 2019/2020 Academic Session, has been ordered to rewrite all her examinations from 200L to 400L over allegation bordering on examination malpractices.

This is coming on the backdrop of a T-shirt Miss Peace Ufuoma Jite-Eda, wore with the inscription “Aggressive malpractice brought me this far”.

To unravel the mystery behind her action, the institution set up a Committee on 13th of July to probe the circumstances surrounding the T-shirt within one week and report back to the school.

UNIBEN began investigating all the results of the female student who wore ” Aggressive Malpractice” shirt during her sign out parade.

Earlier last week, the management of the University, ordered that all the results of the student be investigated after she wore a sign out shirt with the inscription “aggressive malpractice brought me this far” during her signing out parade.

This came after a video of the said student, from the department of Microbiology, went viral a few days ago.

The institution made a statement two weeks ago on Thursday, that the decision to probe the results of the student in question was taken at a meeting that held on the 13th of July.

The female student in question has been reportedly ordered to rewrite all her papers from her Level 200 till the end of 400 level.

It was learnt that the school management wanted to use Peace Ufuoma, as a scape goat to tell other students of the institution of her zero tolerance to examination malpractices.
