Wife of the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Queen Lillian Adebayo, has called on leaders and members of the party to support the aspiration of her husband, Prince Adewole Adebayo by voting for the party in the forthcoming general election.
Queen Adebayo made the call in Ondo, her husband’s hometown on Sunday November 4th 2022, when she addressed Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen, Youth Leader and some members of the party ahead of the February 16 poll.
She described the party leaders as vanguards of change and grassroot mobilizers.
She assured that her husband’s administration would perform creditably towards enhancing the welfare of Nigerians, especially through the introduction of human oriented policies and many other empowerment programmes.
She said if her husband is elected she would continue to execute programmes that would impact positively on the lives of Nigerians.
‘If SDP wins by the grace of God, the government will ensure your prosperity for all of you who ensured that SDP wins and carries the day come 2023.
“I will appeal to you all, work for us. It is not just enough to say it, we have to put it into action and everyone of us here will go back to Delta State and tell your friends, wives, family members particularly those who are of voting age.
“Encourage your wives, tell them to talk to their friends and their families as well so that they all support SDP come February 2023 by the grace of God. We need your support. Please, as you go back, put all your efforts”, she appealed
Those present at the parley include the governorship candidate of the party in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON, and largest private investor in the state and South-south Vice Chairman of the party, Elder Fred Owhotorofa.
Others are the Vice Chairman of the party, Delta Central Senatorial District and Delta Central Coordinator, Gbagi Campaign Council, Comrade Mike Dugbo, Hon. Taga Nikoro, Ughelli North LGA Chairman, Pastor Amos Osiki, Ughelli South LGA Chairman,, Onome Okowa, Ethiope East, Hon. Ofafe Stephen, Sapele LGA, Mike Abiri, Burutu LGA, Chief Gabriel Ibede, State Secretary, Comrade Matthew Luya, SDP Youth Leader, Delta State, Revd Oke Iyidi among others.
