The Jajiya Political Movement, a grassroots support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, has officially endorsed Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji for the 2027 gubernatorial race in the state and pledged support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The endorsement was made during a gathering of supporters in Kaduna, where the movement’s leader, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu Tsafe (Dan Masanin Tsafe), declared that the group had resolved to back Hon. Jaji, who currently represents Kauran Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, citing his leadership track record, accessibility, and consistent service to the people.
Alhaji Tsafe decried what he described as the failure of the current state administration to fulfill its promises, adding that Zamfara is in dire need of a transformative leader who understands the people’s plight.
“The state is experiencing severe misgovernance and growing insecurity. We believe Hon. Jaji is the right person to rescue and reposition Zamfara for progress,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, Hon. Lawali Attahiru Dogon Kade, a leading voice within the movement, described Hon. Jaji as a compassionate and capable leader with a deep commitment to public welfare.
He noted that Jaji’s humanitarian gestures and grassroots connection make him the ideal candidate to lead Zamfara out of its current challenges.
“We are convinced that Hon. Sani Jaji has the character, vision, and courage to govern Zamfara successfully. He has consistently demonstrated his dedication to the people, and we are proud to support his ambition,” Dogon Kade stated.
In a show of spiritual solidarity, Malam Murtala Adala, who led a delegation of Islamic clerics from Zamfara to the event, affirmed that continuous prayers and Qur’anic recitations are being offered for Hon. Jaji’s success.
He described Jaji as the most qualified candidate for governor, with a legacy of service and a heart for the people.
Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, while addressing the enthusiastic crowd, expressed profound gratitude for the endorsement and pledged to work relentlessly to restore peace, prosperity, and justice to Zamfara State.
He also reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, commending the President’s leadership and reforms, which he said are laying a strong foundation for national development.
Outlining his vision for Zamfara, Hon. Jaji emphasized the revival of the Shari’a legal system, economic revitalization, enhanced security, social equity, and fostering unity among the diverse communities in the state.
“We are on a mission to rebuild and reposition Zamfara for a better tomorrow,” he said. “With your support, we will restore hope, peace, and prosperity to our dear state.”
The event was attended by a cross-section of APC supporters, political stakeholders, youth groups, and traditional leaders, all of whom pledged to work tirelessly to ensure Hon. Jaji’s emergence as governor in 2027 and President Tinubu’s re-election.
