INEC Rejects Okowa’s LGA Result Due To O
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Delta State has rejected the presidential results from Ika north east local government area of the State.
Ika north east, is the LGA of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and governor of the state, Ifeanyi Okowa.
The electoral empire cited over-voting as its reasons for rejecting the presidential results from Okowa’s LGA.
Another source disclosed that he was told to reconcile his figures and the result was later accepted.
But the INEC PRO, Bukola Ojeme, said: “Of the five presidential election results collated so far, none was rejected by the SCOPE”.
