Waste evacuation activities have commenced at the Ika Dumpsite, in Boji-Boji Owa, following the sustained collaboration between the Ika North East Local Government Council and the Delta State Waste Management Board.

The ongoing waste pushing exercise, facilitated by the Ika North East Local Government Council, Hon. Monday Odigwe, in collaboration with the Chairman, Delta State Waste Management Board Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, is aimed at improving environmental sanitation, enhancing public health, and restoring cleanliness within the area.

The intervention underscores the council’s commitment to effective waste management and a cleaner, healthier environment for residents of Boji-Boji Owa and its environs.
