I Am the Right, Best Person To Represent Abia Central, Sen. Nwaogu Declares

As the race towards who represents Abia Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly (NASS), thickens, a ranking federal lawmaker, Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, said she is the right and best person to represent the District in the next political dispensation.

“Having seen the people aspiring for the same position, across party line. I stand here in humility to say that; Senator Nkechi Nwaogu is right and the best person needed to Represent Abia Central”.

She made the assertion during her formal declaration to elders, leaders and other members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia Central Senatorial District of the state, to contest for the Senate in the 2023 general elections.

While noting that the APC ticket is a jewel of inestimable value which must be given to candidates that are popular, credible and determined to win election, she said: “Senator Nkechi Nwaogu PhD CON is among the candidates in Nigeria that have this prerequisite factor.

“To the Youths of Abia Central Senatorial District, I have done it before and I will still do it again, as my track records in previous positions I handled was beneficial to the youths.

“You have ever believed in me, and if I am elected with your support, i am going to replicate what I am known for and the youths of Abia Central Senatorial District must be adequately and sufficiently empowered and employed to face the realities on ground.

“To the women, there is no nation without women. I am going back to the Senate to champion a course for gender equality and make sure that the gender equality bill that was rejected by the Senate is revisited.

“In the continuation of what I have been doing before, there is going to be a massive women empowerment and skills acquisition programs for the Women.

To the men of  Abia Central, we are going to run a robust representation and organization of regular town hall meeting to know the various challenges our people are facing.

“In the areas of provision of basic infrastructure and socal amenities, we are going to partner with the relevant agencies like Anambra River Basin, NDDC and other federal parastals to bring about the much desired democracy dividends” she declared.
