Facts have emerged why the Zamfara State House of Assembly, impeached the Deputy Governor of the state, Mahdi Gusau.
A 7-man Committee set up by the Chief Judge of the state, Kulu Aliyu, to investigate allegations against the Deputy Governor.
It was gathered that on February 7, Shamsudeen Basko, Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Information, had announced the service of an impeachment notice on Gusau.
Hassan said the allegations against the Deputy Governor include “insubordination, abuse of office, and criminal self-enrichment”
It would be recall that Zamfara State lawmakers impeached the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Mahdi Gusau.
Gusau was impeached during plenary session, on Wednesday after the House received the report of the committee.
