The Delta State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) held a colorful decoration ceremony for its newly promoted Officers and Marshals at the Sector Command Headquarters, Ibusa.
A total of seven Officers and twenty-five Marshals were on Thursday, September 18, 2025, decorated in recognition of their commitment, dedication, and outstanding service to the Corps.
The highlight of the event was the decoration of the most senior officer, Assistant Corps Commander (ACC) Barrister Gloria N. Iredia, who expressed profound gratitude to the FRSC management for the recognition.
She pledged renewed dedication and unwavering loyalty to the values and vision of the Corps.
In his remarks, the Sector Commander, who hosted the event, emphasized the significance of discipline, integrity, and dedication as the pillars of the Corps’ operations.
A release made available to journalists on Monday September 22, 2025, by Patrick Obiagbo, Superintendent Route Commander Sector Public Enlightenment Officer on behalf of the Sector Commander, urged the newly promoted personnel to redouble their efforts and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The ceremony was graced by Deputy Corps Commanders, officers and men of the Sector Command, as well as the State Coordinator of the Delta State Special Marshals.
The gathering reflected the unity and esprit de corps within the organization.
The decoration exercise not only recognized the achievements of the officers and marshals but also served as a morale booster, reinforcing the culture of hard work, excellence, and loyalty within the FRSC.
