FRSC Clarifies Ogwashi-Uku Accident, Says No Lives Lost
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has dispelled reports suggesting fatalities in an accident that occurred between Ogwashi-Uku and Issele-Azagba in Delta State.
According to the Delta State Sector Public Enlightenment Officer, Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) Patrick Obiagbo, the crash which occurred on Wednesday September 17, 2025, involved a truck conveying Bird feed and a G.O. Motors vehicle.
Obiagbo confirmed that only the driver of the G.O. Motors vehicle sustained a minor injury, stressing that no lives were lost in the incident.
“The accident we know of happened between Ogwashi-Uku and Issele-Azagba involving a truck and G.O. Motors.
“There was no loss of lives. Only the driver of the G.O. Motors sustained a minor injury,” Obiagbo stated.
He further explained that the FRSC was directly involved in the rescue operations and has a full report on the incident.
Obiagbo dismissed claims of multiple fatalities, emphasizing that, unless there was a separate, unreported crash elsewhere, the FRSC had no record of any deaths in the Ogwashi-Uku accident.
