A police officer attached to the office of the former president, Goodluck Jonathan, is dead.
I condole with the Loveday family in Okochiri, Okrika, Rivers State, and the Nigerian Police Force on the unfortunate passing of SP Barasin Loveday, a police officer attached to my office.
Loveday’s death is a huge loss to the nation, and I am personally pained because he was a meticulous, humble, and loyal officer who had worked with me for over two decades.
He was a highly disciplined professional who carried out his duties and responsibilities with utmost diligence and dedication.
I pray that God will comfort his family, friends and colleagues and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss of their beloved one.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace .
