The family of Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, Founder and Vision Pioneer of the ThroneRoom (Trust) Ministry, Kafanchan, has debunked circulating reports claiming that the revered cleric has passed away, describing them as “false and misleading.”
In an official statement signed by Mr. Richard Pius Garba, Media Aide to Apostle Kure, the family categorically refuted the rumours, which were published by some online platforms, including Daily Post and Gistlover.
According to the statement, the confusion stemmed from a misidentification following the announcement of the passing of a Catholic Priest, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Emmanuel K. Kure, by the Archdiocese of Kaduna — a different individual entirely.
“Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure is alive, in good health, and continues to carry out his spiritual and humanitarian responsibilities,” the family clarified.
They further called on media outlets and social media publishers responsible for the erroneous reports to retract the story immediately, issue public apologies, and remove any related posts, images, or materials that perpetuate the misinformation.
The family also appealed to media professionals and content creators to uphold journalistic ethics by verifying information before dissemination and to respect the dignity and privacy of individuals, particularly in sensitive matters such as life and death.
Apostle Kure is widely respected for his leadership in ministry and interfaith peacebuilding efforts, and the family expressed gratitude to concerned individuals who reached out to verify the truth.
