Eid-el-Kabir: Unwavering Delta Former Deputy Speaker Greet Muslims, Sues For Tolerance, Peace

Muslims have been charged to tolerate one another, sacrifice and give peace a chance for the sake in order for Nigeria to move forward.

Former Deputy Speaker and member representing Ndokwa east in the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, gave the charge while felicitating with Nigeria and Delta Muslim faithful and friends, on the occasion of this year’s celebration of  Eid-el-Kabir; calling for tolerance and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

Osanebi, turbine in Muslim Attire, noted that the essence and central message of Eid-el-Kabir celebration is sacrifice, stressing that Nigerians and Muslims across the globe should emulate Prophet Ibrahim to be willing in sacrificing treasures, especially for peace and stability in Nigeria.

Osanebi, in the statement signed by his Media Assistant, Agbanashi Obinne, further charged Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians at large to remain steadfast in their prayers to God to heal the land of COVID-19.

“While we celebrate with our brothers, I want to urge us all to continue to make sacrifices that will consolidate on government’s huge investment in peace and security, as we continue to love and tolerate each other”, Osanebi said.

“We must consciously make sacrifices of love and tolerance for the sake of peace and development across our nation”, the statement added in parts.

“I therefore, on behalf of my wife, my family and the entire Ndokwa East State constituency of Delta State, salute and rejoice with our Muslim brothers, wishing them a peaceful, purposeful and impactful Eid-el-Kabir celebration”.
