Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have besieged the venue of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Special National Convention amidst speculations of dollar rain by Presidential aspirants at the Velodrome of the MKO Abiola Stadium Abuja to monitor proceedings.
Over a dozen officers dressed in their official red overcoats with EFCC boldly written behind were sighted moving around the delegate’s stand.
The appearance of the anti-graft agency personnel has sparked tension, with some of the party’s delegates expressing concerns.
It was gathered that delegates have received as high as $50, 000 to vote for the highest bidder
