EdoDecide2020: APC Members Forced Electoral Officer Out

Suspected members of the main opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Edo State election, have purportedly dragged a staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) out on ground that the official is suspected to be a card carrying member of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).

The incidence occurred at Emokpae Model Primary School, Oredo local government area of Edo State which happened to be the polling Unit of the incumbent goverrnor, Godwin Onaseki, Ward 4 Polling Units 19-28.

However, presiding officers had problems with operating the infrared thermometer meant for testing the temperature of voters.

Meanwhile, The Story can authoritatively report that voting materials arrived early to the various voting Units and Polls.

The situation is calm as voters anticipate the commencement of the voting process. However, there is no adherence to the COVID-19 regulations whatsoever.

The two political gladiators, Obaseki and Ize-Iyamu, had casted their votes.

While the APC governorship candidate allegedly forgot himself and casted his vote for his PDP governorship opponent and requested for another ballot paper, the PDP Candidate on his part is lamenting of been rigged out of the election.
