“The era of godfatherism, which is a major obstacle to good governance and sustainable development in Nigeria has been laid to rest in Edo State, and what is now in vogue and pronounced in Edo State is the creation of an enabling environment for  more and long lasting institutions capable of outliving us both as public servants and as humans, for our people”.
