A Youth Leader of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Ndokwa east local government area of Delta State, Mr. Emmanuel Oba, has resigned to join forces with the opposition political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2023 general elections.
His resignation letter dated 28th June 2021, reads: “I write to formally inform concern parties and the general public of my official resignation as PDP Youth Leader of Ndokwa east local government area and my voluntary abandonment of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), with immediate effect”.
His letter which copied the State Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, Delta north chairman, Moses Iduh and the local government chairman, commended the party for the opportunity given him to serve.
Meanwhile, a stalwart of the APC, Chief Tony Amechi, applauded Mr. Oba, for coming into the APC family as the former PDP youth leader pays him a courtesy call in Abuja.
The APC Chieftain and foremost philanthropist Chief Amechi congratulates Mr. Oba, popularly known as Atinga, a former PDP youth leader into the fold of the progressive party.
High Chief Tony Amechi described Mr. Oba, as a progressive mind who always sail with the winds of positive events and development.
His words: “I have no doubt that Emmanuel Oba will put his skills and progressive spirit in launching our great party to a very great height, we have worked together before and his political ingenuity cannot be overemphasized”.
