The governorship ambition of the former minister of State for education and governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, got a major boost as revered traditional rulers from the state, offered prayers to God for the success of his gubernatorial race.
In their separate prayers, the monarchs asked that God would grant the Industrialist his heart desires come 2023.
The Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, in Ughelli south, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Dr. (Ovie) R.L. Ogbon, Ogoni-Oghoro 1, in his prayers said: “May God grant you your heart desires as far as this governorship is concerned. What you are looking for, will look for you”.
Also, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, in his prayers said: “May God bless you, may he grant you favour, the resources that you desire, may the resources locate you.
“May he give you words to speak to the populace. So, I bless you and God willing, we will see the outcome and we will all be grateful for it at the end”.
Similarly, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Umogu, prayed: “May God grant you success, may he give you all that you need to run this race.
“May God remove whatever would obstruct you as you go about your consultations and campaigns, may he grant you favour before the people”, stressing that he has no doubt whatsoever in his mind about Gbagi’s ability to develop the State.
