A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emmanuel Eboh, has called for an inclusive dialogue among key political leaders of Delta North, urging former Governor Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, incumbent Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, and former Senator Peter Nwaoboshi to meet and chart a united course for the Anioma nation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Chief Eboh emphasized the urgency of strategic engagement among Anioma’s foremost political figures to consolidate peace, strengthen cohesion, and ensure the continued relevance of Delta North in the state’s political landscape.

He revealed that the Delta North Senatorial Chairman of the APC, Ogbuefi Adizua Eluaka, had earlier proposed a stakeholders’ convergence involving key leaders, including the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, to reconcile differences, foster mutual understanding, and fortify the party’s structure across the senatorial district.

Chief Eboh lauded the growing unity within the APC family in Delta North and commended the recent rapprochement between Senator Okowa and Senator Nwaoboshi, describing it as “commendable, timely, and a step in the right direction.”

He further advocated for a broader consultative meeting among all prominent political leaders from the zone, stressing that such collaboration would strengthen the APC’s foothold and enhance its competitiveness ahead of future elections.

“Delta North has always demonstrated political maturity, cohesion, and a strong sense of collective purpose.

“The time has come for all our leaders to put aside differences and work together for the greater good of our people,” Chief Eboh stated.

He noted that since the return of democratic governance in 1999, the Anioma region has been known for peace, unity, and steady political advancement, and urged its leaders to uphold that legacy.

Chief Eboh reaffirmed his belief that the synergy of Okowa, Nwoko, Nwaoboshi, Onyeme, and other key stakeholders would not only strengthen the APC but also promote sustainable development and political harmony in Delta North.
