…Commend’s Gov Oborevwori’s visionary leadership, good governance strides
The Governing Board of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM), has described the Director General of Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, as a top class communication Strategist and Media Manager, who over the years demonstrated competence and professionalism.
The Institute in a congratulatory message to Dr Oghenesivbe and signed by the Registrar and Governing Board Secretary, Dr Adelanke Oyintoke, said the Board is proud of Oghenesivbe’s accomplishments as a highly resourceful public servant and distinguished member of the Institute, adding that his roles in government communication and media management has effectively projected Delta State Government in good light, urging him not to sustain the tempo.
Dr Oyintoke assured that the Institute will continue to build the capacity of members through regular professional training, Masters and Professional Doctorate Degree programmes in collaboration with the prestigious Liberal Bilingual University.
He disclosed that Dr Oghenesivbe was one of the best graduating Doctorate Degree Students of the Institute and LBUT held in Togo in year 2022, while commending Delta State Government for sponsoring the three years programme, which had impacted meaningful on Oghenesivbe’s enviable performance as a senior government communication Strategist and media manager.
“We celebrate a highly esteemed Distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, on the occasion of his recent appointment as the Director General of Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau.
“HIs appointment was not a surprise to the Institute, it was well deserved, as rightly posited by the immediate past governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, who during his tenure approved state sponsorship of Oghenesivbe’s three years Professional Doctorate Degree program in Information Strategy Management.
“Dr Oghenesivbe is a tested and trusted communication Strategist and media manager, with sound academic background, a wordsmith with unique crafting techniques.
“CIISM commends His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, JP, for appointing Dr Latimore Oghenesivbe as Director General of Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, as well as for his visionary leadership and good governance strides within 15 months in office as governor.
“The appointment clearly revealed that the governor recognizes the professional expertise of the new Director General, and the enviable roles he played during the 2023 governorship election, coupled with his enviable track records as a top class communication Strategist.
