President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed the approved N70, 000 new minimum wage bill into law for Nigerian workers.
Tinubu on Monday July 28, 2024, signed the new minimum wage at the State House in Abuja, few minutes ago.
This would end months of roundtable talks between government authorities, labour unions, and the private sector.
It would be recall that Tinubu announced the minimum wage during a meeting with leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) at the presidential villa on Thursday last week.
