Following the unabated crisis rocking the governor of River State, Siminalayi Fubara, the governor has made an unforgivable blunder while speaking on a Live Programme on Arise News television.
The President General of the Ogbakor Ikwerre Ethnic Nationality Worldwide, Eze (Barrister) Godspower Onuekwa, on Monday July 8, 2024, in his speech at a solidarity visit to Fubara, had requested for the rebuilding of the Ikwerre Secretariat which he said is in a dilapidated State and a car to enable him move around while carrying out his constitutional duties.
The governor who was responding to the eulogies and demands by Ikwerre apex decision making body, pronounced worldwide as “wideworld”, twice before correcting himself.
While trying to save his face, after realizing that he goofed said it could be turned from Worldwide to “wideworld”.
