One of Delta’s most gallant kings, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Clement Oghenerukevwe Ikolo Urhukpe 1, the traditional ruler of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom in Ughelli south local government area of Delta State who was detained for three weeks by the Nigerian army over alleged murder of 17 soldiers in his kingdom, is set to return home, The Story can authoritatively report

A palace source said the traditional ruler, who was released in Abuja, on Friday 19th April 2024, after turning himself over to the police and subsequent handover to the military, would fly to the Asaba International Airport.

The law abiding traditional ruler would be received by prominent palace delegations and other subjects at the airport.

The monarch who was detained at the military facility in Asokoro, Abuja, and later released because he was not culpable, was among eight persons declared wanted by the army.
