Governor Usman Ododo has removed the caretaker chairman of Ofu local government area of Kogi state, Hassan Sani Atawodi.
According to a statement by the Secretary to State Government, Dr Folashade Ayoade, in Lokoja on Monday, the chairman’s removal takes immediate effect.
The statement also announced the appointment of Musa Lawal as the new caretaker chairman of Ofu LGA.
She directed Atawodi to submit all government properties in his possession and handover all affairs of the local government council to the new caretaker chairman.
