The National Executive Committee (NEC)/of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday, confirmed the appointment of the immediate-past Governor of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the party.
It also appointed Senator Basiru Ajibola as National Secretary.
This comes on the heels of the screening of ministerial nominees by the 10th Senate.
With the arrival of the second batch of ministerial nominees, the total number of nominees before the Senate is now 47.
Meanwhile, the screening exercise of the second batch list, according to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, will commence on Friday this week while new nominees are given Thursday to perfect their documentation.
