There are indications that the Rivers State governor and other Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) governors led by Nyesom Wike may have sheath their sword to work for the party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come 2023.
It was gathered that the resolution was reached after several hours of close door meeting at the Rivers State governor’s Lodge, Asokoro Abuja.
Meanwhile, an analyst who toed a different path said Wike would not work for the party considering the alleged betrayal of the South-south governors declaration in Asaba by his Delta counterpart and Vice presidential candidate of the party, Ifeanyi Okowa.
Another respondent disclosed that they should rather be patient for Wike’s statement before jubilating.
