Bishop Ewherido Blesses Adebayo’s New Residence as NUJ, Friends Gather in Thanksgiving

It was a gathering of joy, gratitude, and celebration as the leadership of the Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), led by its Chairman, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, joined family, friends, and associates at the house opening and thanksgiving prayer of Asiwaju Sola Adebayo at Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Effurun-Warri.

The event, which was held on Thursday, September 4, 2025,
attracted dignitaries from different walks of life, was characterized by heartfelt prayers, hymns of praise, and warm expressions of goodwill.

Guests joined the Adebayo family in acknowledging God’s faithfulness for the successful completion of the residence, which was dedicated as a place of peace, joy, and prosperity.

The spiritual climax of the occasion came with the solemn prayer and blessing of the new home by the Most Reverend Anthony Ovayero Ewherido, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Warri.

The cleric prayed for divine protection and grace upon the family, committing the household into God’s hands.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Oyowe described the occasion as “a testimony of God’s unwavering faithfulness,” noting that the presence of the NUJ leadership was both a show of solidarity and a celebration of one of the union’s own.

He congratulated Asiwaju Adebayo for the accomplishment and prayed for continued blessings upon his household.

The house opening also served as a reunion of sorts, with friends, colleagues, and community leaders exchanging goodwill messages and sharing in the joy of the Adebayo family.
