Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have resolved to work in unity and prioritize the collective interest and supremacy of the party above personal or group ambitions.
The resolution was reached during a crucial reconciliation meeting chaired by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON, and co-chaired by the Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni.
In his remarks, Speaker Abbas emphasized that the stability and progress of the APC must take precedence over individual differences, urging all members to uphold discipline, loyalty, and commitment to the ideals of the party.
The meeting, attended by former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, and other key stakeholders, was part of a series of reconciliation efforts aimed at addressing the internal divisions that affected the party’s performance in Bauchi State.
Participants at the meeting expressed optimism that the renewed unity and commitment would strengthen the APC’s structure, foster cohesion, and position the party for greater success in future elections.
