APGA Takes Victory To Seven LGAs, Floors Ozigbo, Uba LGAs

Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, is currently leading in one-third of the entire Local Government Areas in Anambra State.

There are 21 LGAs in the state and the APGA candidate has cleared out all the seven LGAs that have been announced so far.

The LGAs are  Orumba South, Njijoka, Awka South, Onitsha South, Enugu Anambra East, Anaocha, and Anambra East.

Neither APC nor the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won any LGA where results have been declared.

As of two hours ago, Soludo was leading in five LGAs. By the time when two new LGAs were announced, the APGA candidate still carried the day there.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Sunday for the final collation.

In the meantime, below are the results of the seven the LGAs that have been announced so far.

Soludo Defeats Ozigbo, Andy Uba In Their LGAs

Meanwhile, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has secured the highest votes in Aguata Local Government Area.

Soludo, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are all from Aguata.

While announcing results at the Local Government Collation Centre, Professor Anim O Ajake, the Collation Officer for Aguata, said Soludo polled 9,136 votes, next to Uba who garnered 4773 votes and Obizo trailed with 3798.

Ajake announced elections did hold in certain areas.

He listed these areas as Umuchu 1 (3 Units – 2292), Igbokwu 1 (3-926) 5units 2665, Ekwulobia II (2 units).
