The N40 billion Akwa Ibom State International Airport would soon be completed and commissioned.
The State Governor, Emmanuel Udom, said that the project would have a direct impact on the lives and the people of the state.
Mr. Udom explained that ‘‘the Ibom Airline has continued to link many parts of Nigeria as it provides efficient air transportation in Nigeria”.
The Project Manager of the International Airport, Mr. Francis Uwah, said: “On completion, management targets one million passengers in a year”.
Uwah described it “as a smart building to be fitted latest security gadgets interestingly. It is also energy saving”.
