Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their commitment to building a stronger, more united nation, noting that the country’s economy is showing signs of improvement.
In his Independence Day message, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor called on citizens to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as well as his administration’s MORE Agenda, both of which, he said, are geared towards improving living standards.
Governor Oborevwori highlighted his administration’s investments in massive infrastructure upgrades across Delta State, its push for a power revolution through renewable energy, and the creation of an enabling environment to attract foreign direct investment.
According to him, these efforts are targeted at making life more meaningful for residents while boosting the state’s economy.
The governor also appealed to all ethnic groups in the state to continue to embrace peace and unity, describing peace as a necessary condition for sustainable development.
Reaffirming his commitment to inclusive governance, Oborevwori pledged to keep working for the progress and prosperity of all Deltans.
