Delta State leading governorship candidate under the auspices of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has congratulated the party’s presidential candidate, Prince Adebayo Adewale on his emergence during the party’s primary election.
The former minister of State for education, a grassroot politician, felicitated with the party’s presidential candidate while addressing journalists shortly after the exercise which took place Wednesday June 8th 2022, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The Criminologist also congratulated the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam and his National Working Committee (NWC), members who were sworn in alongside with him before the commencement of the primary.
“I must commend the party for their orderliness and respect for the Constitution. It was a family affair, what is before us now is how to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
“Prince Adebayo must not relent in making Nigeria a better place, he heard the speech of the National Chairman earlier on how Nigerians have expressed tiredness over the insecurity, unemployment and the rest.
“He must also make do with his speech while addressing delegates. This is the time to act. He should be magnanimous in victory and reach out to his opponent in the race for a united party.
“He must also reach out to other aspirants who stepped down for him because the time begins now. Let us not relent in working hard for our great party. I urge all our party members and Nigerians to rally support for him in the Presidential elections in 2023”, the Delta State gubernatorial candidate said.
He commended the party for zoning their presidential candidate to south.
