20 Years After, Former NUJ Chairman, Remembers Late Father

The former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, Comrade Osita Biose and his siblings, remembered their late father, Pa Okolie Biose in grandstyle at Idumuinei Village of Issele-Uku, Aniocha north local government area of Delta State.

Journalists, friends and associates were in Issele-Uku on Thursday 31st December, 2020, to join the former NUJ Chairman and current Deputy General Manager of the Pointer Newspapers to honour his beloved late father.

Comrade Osita described his father as a man who saw the future and did everything possible to educate his children to become better people in the society.

He said though he is no longer here with us for the past 20 years, his legacies would continue to live on and be remembered. “I wish he was here today to see how God had prospered his children through his painstaking efforts then”, remembered Osita.

The renowned Unionist therefore, appreciated those who graced the Remembrance ceremony immensely, asking God to richly bless them and grant them a prosperous New Year.

The family of Pa Okolie Biose comprising of Comrade Osita Biose, Mr. Azuka Biose, Mr. Sally Bazim Biose, Mr. Chibuzor Biose, Mr. Ify Biose including their sisters were reputed for their unity and cooperation as they worshipped and danced to glorify God for what He has done for them as a family without the presence of their father these past years.

Guests were entertained by Minister Chioma Jesus with more than enough to eat and drink.
