Two In Critical Condition, As Trailer Crashes Into Acquisition Centre In Delta

A yet to be identified trailer driver and his conductor are currently in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital in Issele-Uku, after he crashed into the Leather Factory along Asaba-Benin expressway, Issele-Uku in Aniocha north local government area of Delta State.

Trouble started on Friday July 23rd 2021, as the articulated vehicle carrying Iron, veered off the road and crashed into the Leather Factory premises, leaving the duo in a bad health condition.

An unconfirmed source disclosed that the driver who was on a high speed from Agbor to Asaba axis suddenly lost control of the steering before the crash occurred.

Although, it was gathered that no life was lost to the lone accident, the long vehicle shattered the fence of the skill acquisition centre.

It was learnt that Good Samaritans, who rushed to the scene, took the driver and his motor boy to the hospital in the town for medical attention.

The accident left the long articulated vehicle beyond repairs.

At the time of the report, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), could not be reached for comment.
