According to sources, the strange deaths occurred on Wednesday 25th November 2020, leaving three abled body youths dead.
It would be recall that a mysterious death later diagnosed as Yellow Fever had ravaged Ute-Okpu, Idumesa and Ute-Erumu communities in Ika north east local government area of the state, killing over 30 persons.
It was learnt that Ekuku Agbor, a community in Ika south local government area, is presently having her fair share of the disease.
It would be recall also that the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mordi Ononye, while briefing journalists Friday 6th November 2020, at the Conference Hall of the ministry of Information, disclosed that results from samples of those who died showed yellow fever as the cause of their deaths.
Ononye, hinted that samples have been sent to the Regional Laboratory in Dakar, Senegal for final confirmation, pointing out that the state was expecting the results in one month time.
