THE STORY BREAKING NEWS: Former Delta Deputy Governor Loses 65-year-old Wife

The Children to the immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Utuama, has announced the demise of their mother, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Tuwere Nelly Utuama who died at the age of 65 years.

According to a statement on Thursday 18th March 2021, signed by the eldest son of Chief Edwin Clark who doubles as as Special Adviser to the state governor, Ebikeme Clark, the former Deputy Governor’s wife died after a brief illness.

The Story, reliably gathered that she died last week but the news was concealed following unconfirmed rumour of health challenge faced by the husband.

“The families of His Excellency, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama, SAN, of Otu-Jeremi, Pa Ojigho of Otokutu, Chief Ikporoko Oro of Ejekota and Chief E. K. Clark of Kiagbodo, all in Delta State, regret to announce the passing on of their daughter, sister, cousin, mother and grandmother, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Tuwere Nelly Utuama, after a brief illness, at the age of 65 years.

“The news of the passing-on was made known by her children, Dr. Ovie Andrew Utuama and Barr. Mrs. Oghenefejiro Barbara Smooth.

“Burial arrangements will be announced later by the family”.
