“We are at the planning stage where we are preparing the minds of opinion leaders and stakeholders  ahead of time,  carry out sensitisation before the flag off ceremony and then commencement of distribution.

“We have come to see you as a mother to all, to seek your blessing for the success of this programme and then to help sensitize mostly the women to ensure they receive the Mosquito nets and utilise them properly.

“We want every family to receive the Mosquito nets,  that is why we will take time to sensitize the people before implementation. So we are banking on your goodwill to achieve the success of this task our Royal Mother.

“Every family in Okpanam is important.  We want all to be aware and prepare to receive us during distribution. However,  we are already foreseeing challenge distributing to families across the Express, so it will please us if security is provided for our officials while they engage on that area of Okpanam. We need peace and safety of our officers during this time our mother”, Uzoka stated.

Obi Martha Dunkwu thanked them for coming and commended them for always being in the forefront to implement health programmes of government.

She said it was heart-warming to see that majority of the health workers on the Advocacy visit were women, maintaining that it shows the importance of women in ensuring the success of programmes and policies of government.

Her words,  “Medical personnel are second to God, because they deal with life; while God gives and takes life, they work to cure sicknesses and save lives. I am always enthusiastic about your profession, and I can do anything to assist and support your activities.

“We will do our best in this circumstance, to ensure that families in Okpanam are aware of this programme and also understand the importance of it so they can benefit from it.

“However,  I will suggest you reachout to the Traditional Ruler of Okpanam in case you have not done that. He will be the one to provide you security and ensure that the area is safe for you to operate. You know there is jurisdiction in our operations, so he will be the one to give you people to assist your officers,  especially security.

“I assure you that whatever I can do that is within my reach,  I can do that to advance this course. Nobody will deny you any request because in actual sense, what you are doing is to help reduce Mosquito parasite in our environment so we can live well and healthy.

“Thank you for your effort to come so that our people will be aware of this programme. Just count on me for support, even your flag off ceremony, if it is convenient I will come to show my support”, Omu Dunkwu said.
