The Anioma Medical Professionals Forum is to hold her Inaugural Medical Mission at Ubulu-Okiti in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State between 15th and 16th April, 2022.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Chairman of AMPF, Dr. Alexander Chidubem Awunor.
He said that a Non Governmental Organisation – Chidi Ikediashi Foundation has decided to collaborate with Anioma Medical Professionals Forum to extend their act of kindness and service to humanity in Ubulu-Okiti community.
The programme is being sponsored by Mr. Chidi Ikediashi, an illustrious son of Ubulu-Okiti who attracted the health mission to his community in furtherance of his charity and philanthropic disposition.
Awunor therefore, called on the people of Ubulu-Okiti and environs to avail themselves the opportunity of participating in the free medical outreach billed to hold at 9am daily on 15th and 16th April at the Ubulu-Okiti Primary Health Centre.
He listed a number of areas to focus in their services which include; Free consultations and counselling, free drug distribution, free eye screening and dispensing of lenses, free laboratory assay (blood glucose, etc), health talks and dietary counselling, free dental examination and surgeries, physiotherapy care and counselling and adequate referrals.
The registration of patients for the programme will commence on Thursday 7th to Tuesday 12th April, 2022, from 9am to 4pm daily. It should be noted that numbers will be given to persons who register first at the place of registration which is the Primary Health Centre at Ubulu-Okiti.
Anioma Medical Professionals Forum had previously held medical missions at Ika North East LGA, precisely at Owa Alero and Idumuesah, including 16 communities in Aniocha North LGA, Asaba in Oshimili South LGA and Kwale in Ndokwa West LGA.
Meanwhile, efforts are in top gear to observe all Covid-19 protocols at the venue.
