NYSC Delta Coordinator, Olaosebikan Receives Award On Peace Building

Delta State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Alao Olaosebikan has been honoured with an award on Peace Building by a selected team of professional newsmen christened “Eye-On-Security”.

The award was presented to him at a One Day Peace and Security Summit with the theme “The Role of the Media in the Fight Against Crime and Criminality”, which held on June 12, 2024, at the press center of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), in Asaba, Delta State.

The organisers eminently recognized Mr. Olaosebikan for his “Immense Contribution to Genuine Peace Building Process in Africa” through the platform of the NYSC.

In a swift response to the gesture of the Media platform to recognize his deliberate and conscious effort at restoring dignity of service among the graduate Youth of Nigeria, Olaosebikan pledged to continue to do his patriotic best at human capital development and security of an average Nigerian youth corps member.

The cerebral Olaosebikan has become an award winning Coordinator since his deployment to Delta, making impeccable and tremendous contributions to peace building among the Nigerian Youth through proper coordination of the NYSC Orientation Camp, enhancing the entrepreneurial development of the corps members through the SKill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) and proper value reorientation that is capable of equipping the corps members sustain capacity after their compulsory national service.
