Comrade Gospel Ifechikwu Amaliamifeobu, has bagged an excellent award of Niger Delta Media Personality of the Year 2021.
Comrade Amaliamifeobu, was recognized based on his immense contribution towards the wellbeing of the society through information dissemination and entertainment.
The awardee, who is the present Head of News and Current Affairs Department, Bridge Radio 98.7 FM Asaba, is equally known for his Leap TV, an online television platform that reports the unreported across the length and breadth of the state.
The Head of News and Current Affairs Department of Bridge Radio 98.7, was the former Labour Party (LP) Candidate for Aniocha south State Constituency in the 2019 general elections who was later known for his “Leap Mandate”.
He was equally catapulted to limelight with his popular Onyenjenje Global, a programme on Bridge Radio which endeared him to his people across the Ibo speaking states in Nigeria.
The Bridge Radio Head of News and Current Affairs Department, has become a role model to many who have not even seen him but knows him by name.
Comrade Amaliamifeobu, is a member of many professional bodies including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) a household name and a brand.
The on air radio personality, who is also known as the Senior Advocate for Good Governance(SAGG) was nominated and awarded the Niger Delta Media Personality of the Year 2021, at an event which was put together by the Niger Delta Kings and Queens.
It is an organization that is into pageantry, fashion show, skills training, and humanitarian services, was held in Asaba, the state capital on Sunday, November 7th,2021.
He is the present Secretary, Asaba Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council.
