A video is currently trending of a big snake that slept overnight on same bed with a female student in one of the hostels belonging to Novena University, Ogume, Kwale, Ndokwa west local government area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the snake crawled into the hostel and found its way to the bed of the unidentified female student.
The python like snake was discovered in the morning of Monday 28th February 2022, when the students and her roommates woke up to the shocking presence of the python.
It was gathered that the premises of the hostel is allegedly overgrown with grasses, leading to different kinds of reptiles finding their way into the hostels unhindered.
It was learnt that students have launched several complaints to the authority of the private institution but they allegedly fell on deaf ears.
In the trending video, voices of female students who seemed to have slept in the same room were heard screaming.
One of the female voices said: “In hostel till day break like this. Straight up in Novena University, I slept down. She slept with the snake like this. God! God of mercy”.
At press time, effort to get reaction from the school met brick walls.
