A total of 100 applicants have been shortlisted to benefit from the second edition of the Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Betta Edu’s 2022 free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), registration in Cross River Central Senatorial District of the state.
The philanthropic gesture, is part of Dr. Edu’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), to her constituents particularly indigent students who are desirous of gaining admission into higher institutions of learning.
According to her aide, Mr. Peter Enyievi, the Health Commissioner posted on her Facebook page and personal profile page for interested candidates who could not be able to afford the money for the JAMB Form to drop their details.
He said the criteria to qualify include, local government of origin, phone number and name of interested applicants.
“She posted on her Facebook page that she wants to give support to 100 JAMB Candidates who cannot afford to purchase the form and interested candidates should drop their details.
“And the details are just simple. Your name, LGA of origin, phone number for easy contact. The information is on her page and personal profile and it was the first 100 persons that we picked”, Mr. Enyievi, disclosed.
According to the post, “Successful candidates are to generate a profile pin for themselves, send same to 08060868949.
“And then proceed to jamb office, Calabar, for image capturing beginning from Thursday 24th February to Thursday 10th of March 2022, (9am – 4pm, Mondays – Fridays).
