An adherent of the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and former minister of State for education, the incoming Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, who simply identified herself as Obianuju has declared that the fortune of Delta State would change for good, if he (Gbagi) emerges the governor of the state.
Obianuju made this assertion on Thursday January 5th 2023, in an interview in Warri.
She noted that Gbagi, having been chairman, Legal Aid Council of Nigeria and Delta Development Property Authority (DDPA) respectively, has the requisite knowledge and experience that could transform the state for good.
She described the biggest private investor in the state as highly skilled, knowledgeable, experienced and ready to hit the ground running for the good of the state.
“Gbagi, is a nice man and he has been helping us for many years. Now that the governorship election in near, I want to call on all Deltans to come out en mass and vote for him.
“He had already said that he will empower the youths and Delta State will change to Dubai.
“I believe that immediately Gbagi enters as governor, Delta State will change. I will vote for him and I call on all in Delta State to vote for him”, she said.
Also, a small scale business owner, Mamus, said she has so much faith in Gbagi’s ability to massively engage the youths by giving them gainful employment.
“I believe him so much because I know he will empower the youths. He is one person that I know that has the youths at heart.
“He is one person that I know that will create more platforms for the youths. He is this man that always think of the betterment of the youths. He always think of the best possible way to earn money.
“I know that if he becomes the governor, poverty will reduce”, he declared.
Kingsley Efe Odete who praised Gbagi to high heavens said: “He is a very good man when it comes to investments, that is why if you watch, he is always dealing with the youths.
“In terms of investments, he is very good at it. And I believe that what he says, he will do.
“He tries to eradicate social vices associated with the youths. When you talk of cultism and crisis.
“A new Delta with a new beginning, a new face of good road network, hospitals and healthcare in general. We will see new things”, Odete, assured.
