In a powerful show of unity and political solidarity, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aniocha North Local Government Area has declared unflinching support for Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, during a high-level strategic engagement held Wednesday at the party’s secretariat in Issele-Uku.

The meeting, which attracted key party stakeholders, elders, and grassroots mobilizers, was convened to strengthen internal cohesion, deepen grassroots engagement, and chart a unified course for the APC ahead of future electoral contests in Delta State.

In his address, Senator Ned Nwoko praised the enduring resilience and loyalty of the party’s grassroots structure in Aniocha North.

He reaffirmed his dedication to the progress of the APC and to ensuring a new era of discipline, unity, and political inclusivity across the senatorial district.

“I appreciate your sacrifices in building and sustaining this party through thick and thin. Let me be clear: whatever I tolerated in the past that enabled disrespect or sabotage within our ranks will no longer be condoned.

“The APC is one family. And for the record, if ever there’s talk of factions, I am with Mr. President,” the Senator declared.

The meeting reached a significant milestone when Michael Osionye Chinye, former State Publicity Secretary of the APC (Ward 7), moved a formal vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Ned Nwoko, and the APC’s leadership in Delta State.

The motion, seconded by Anslem Odiakaose, a former councillor, was unanimously adopted by all present.

Also speaking at the event, Dr. Anthonia Ashiedu, a respected political leader and former Delta State Commissioner for Micro Credit, delivered an impassioned address endorsing Senator Nwoko’s leadership and political significance to the Anioma nation.

“Senator Ned is more than just a senator; he is a blessing to Aniocha North and the entire Anioma region.

“We finally have a leader we can proudly showcase a man with unprecedented access to the President and the corridors of power. We must protect and stand firmly behind him.”

Ashiedu urged party members and constituents alike to promote the vision of an Anioma State, underscoring the identity, cultural pride, and strategic necessity behind the long-standing demand.

“Let us not be distracted by false narratives. Our identity as Anioma is unique not a question of being East or West. It’s about recognition, representation, and development. Wherever you find yourself, church, market, community meeting, carry the gospel of Anioma State.”

She further warned against complacency, saying, “This is not the time to take what we have for granted. We must protect this moment and support our Senator while he is strong and ready to work.”

The meeting was presided over by Sir Matthew Chinye, APC Chairman of Aniocha North, who reaffirmed the local chapter’s loyalty to the party’s national leadership and unwavering commitment to Senator Nwoko’s political agenda.

As the APC seeks to consolidate its presence in Delta North, this gathering marks a pivotal moment of alignment between party loyalists and their most prominent federal representative signaling a united front moving forward.
