The Olu of Warri Kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III, affirmed that the traditional institution will continue to seek ways to enhance the lives of the people.
He made this statement while receiving the traditional ruler of Aboh Kingdom, Dr. Greg Oputa, Obi Oputa III, and his council of chiefs at his palace in Warri.
The Olu emphasized that traditional rulers remain steadfast in their efforts to ensure that the people, while respecting the laws of the land, also honor elected leaders to sustain peace in the region.
He promised to collaborate with the Obi of Aboh to foster the much-needed development for their communities.
Highlighting the beautiful historical ties between the two kingdoms, the Ogiame called for their preservation to support mutual growth.
In his remarks, Obi Oputa III acknowledged the vital role traditional rulers play in shaping society and driving local development.
He reaffirmed their commitment to guiding the people in the right direction.
